Ashoka〡Changemaker Schools
Vidyodaya-Adivasi School educates and supports over 3000 Adivasi children in over 300 villages in India. The school is modelled along an alternative pedagogy, incorporating Adivasi history, culture, songs and stories into the standard curriculum. This new education system equipped children to compete with the general population for jobs and other opportunities. Ashoka, one of the top 5 NGO’s in the world, was so inspired by the Vidyodaya-Adivasi School, they added it to their list of Changemakers.
We were approached by Ashoka to create a heart-warming film that captured this stirring story and the impact that it had in its community. We were especially invested in this project as it moved and inspired us to take on more work in this sector.
